Instructions

Episodes

To use this template, please use the following format:

{{Appear|episode abbreviation}}

Episode abbreviation uses the episode's unique abbreviation. The proper abbreviation can be found on the episode's page, in the episode infobox. Use the exact abbreviation shown on the episode's page, which means using both the uppercase and lowercase letters as shown.

You can list multiple episodes. Separate each episode number with a | (the pipe symbol). For example, for the first three episodes of season one use:

{{Appear|MM|PB|OoaK}}

You can use "allS" where S is the season number if the character has been in every episode that season. Example:

{{Appear|all1}}

For the intro, use "intro":

{{Appear|intro}}

You do not have to start a new Appear template for each season. You can put them all in the same template. For example, seasons 1 and 2 would look like:

{{Appear|MM|PB|OoaK|MB|DD|PR|E4E|IR|GNO}}

Games

You must start a new template for the games separate from the seasons. Please place games at the bottom of the Sightings list.

Games can be added by using the initials of the full game name in all uppercase letters

Game name {{Appear|Abbreviation}}
All games allgame
Danny Phantom: The Ultimate Enemy DPTUE
Danny Phantom: Urban Jungle DPUJ
Nicktoons Unite! NU
Nicktoons: Battle for Volcano Island NBFVI

Section headers

Section headers are automatically included with the template.

Clarification

You can clarify the appearance in seven ways:

  • No lines (nl)
  • Flashback (f)
  • Flashback, no lines (fnl)
  • Uncredited (u)
  • Mentioned (m)
  • Pictured (p)
  • Likeness (l)

To use these, add nl, f, fnl, u, m, p, or l after the episode number. For example, if a character appeared in episode 1, was seen in a flashback in episode 2 and was uncredited in episode 3, all in season one, use:

{{Appear|MM|PBf|OoaKu}}

Note: if a character speaks on TV in the show, it counts as a regular appearance.

Editing the template

To edit this template's output options, for example to add new episodes, go here. Be sure to do it in the exact same format as the rest, or it will either break the code or give a wrong output. Also be sure to always put a comma at the end, unless it's the very last item. For big changes, you might have to edit the main module here, but only do that if you're sure it's needed and if you know what you're doing.
